Lucas Johnston is an entrepreneur and digital strategist. He is Head of Product at the Financial Times for its FT Strategies division, and previously founded Umber, a fintech startup for Gen-Z backed by the same investors behind Monzo and WeWork.


Having joined his first start-up at 14-years-old and leaving home at 16-years-old, Lucas has over a decade of experience launching products and building inventive, unconventional customer experiences for leading brands, government agencies, think tanks, and many of the UK’s unicorn startup success stories. Lucas is longing for a Bernese Mountain Dog, and based in London and New York.
